Hi, I’m Chris – the face (and feet!) behind Doggy Take Out, your friendly, local dog walker in Leeds.

I’m 33 years old, originally from Yorkshire, and I moved to Leeds for university over a decade ago. Like many who fall in love with this brilliant city, I never left – and now I’m lucky enough to call LS15 home, along with my partner, our three amazing children, and our lovely dog, Olive.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with a gentle Golden Labrador named Jenny, who sparked my love for animals from a young age. These days, it’s Olive who’s by my side – full of character, energy, and always up for an adventure. No matter how busy life gets, walking Olive is the highlight of my day. It’s my time to reset, connect with nature, and enjoy the bond only a dog can give.​
Why I started Doggy Take Out

After years of working jobs that never quite lit the spark, I decided to take the leap and turn my passion into something more. I wanted a career that made me smile every day – and what better way than helping other dog owners make sure their pups are happy, healthy, and well-exercised?

With Doggy Take Out, I’ve combined reliability, care, and genuine passion to create a dog walking service in Leeds LS15 that people can trust. Whether it’s a regular routine, an occasional walk, or a tailored one-on-one session, I treat every dog like they’re my own
